15th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary’s Walk for a Cause

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) of Ilocos Norte, together with the officials and employees of the different Local Government Units (LGUs) and National Government Agencies (NGAs) of  Ilocos Norte,  participated in the Walk for a Cause activity on September 04, 2015. The said activity significantly commenced the celebration of the 115th Philippine Civil Service anniversary with the theme, “Kayang-kaya Mo, Lingkod ng Bayani”.


Participants gathered in front of the Laoag City Commercial Complex at exactly 5:30 in the morning. The LGUs and NGAs that participated in the said activity are the following:

The contingent started walking at around 6:30 AM and headed towards Mariano Marcos Memorial Stadium for a  zumba dance exercise called “Hataw Sayaw”,  choreographed by the Mariano Marcos State University teachers and students of MAPEH.  After the “Hataw Sayaw”, Director II of the Civil Service Commission of Ilocos Norte, Ms. Nieves Duldulao,  gave her closing remarks and shared her short but meaningful speech about the celebration of 115th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service  and  the activity “A Walk for a Cause”. According to her, the proceeds of the activity will benefit indigent families from Baranggay Caaoacan, Laoag City. She thanked everyone who participated in the said event.
