Distribution of Agricultural and Fishery Inputs for Typhoon “Lawin” Affected Farmers and Fisherfolks

The Laoag City Government, through the stewardship of the Hon. City Mayor Chevyle V. Fariñas and the City Council headed by the Hon. Vice Mayor Michael V. Fariñas,  allocated the amount of Eight Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 800,000.00) from the Calamity Fund of the city. This is intended to defray expenses for the purchase of agricultural and fishery inputs as rehabilitation measure to farmers and fishermen affected by Typhoon Lawin last October 19-20, 2016. The measure is to mitigate the adverse effects of the typhoon on top what some farmers received as indemnity claim from PCIC.
