She said that the city of Laoag is very lucky and more so to Carlo because it is the first time that Laoag has a representative in this kind of competition and he made it in the top.
The mayor believes that Carlo uplifts the morale of men in the city hoping that this will encourage others in joining any kind of competition in order for them to share and expsoe their respective talents.
Relative to this, the Mayor now approves the yearly conduct of Mr. Laoag to be incorporated in the Pamulinawen Festival, believing that this also brings good results with the help and guidance of Mr. Lao.
Reacting to this, Lao also expressed his thanks and appreciation to mayor Fariñas and all the people and sponsors who helped, since Laoag City hosted the pre-pageant competition held last September 26 until the coronation night.
According to Lao, Carlo did his best in bringing home one of the major awards. Indeed, this is the fruit of their hardships and prayers. He further said that the fist ever Mr. Laoag search held last February during the Pamulinawen Festival had a big help in choosing someone who will best represent the city of Laoag in national men’s competitions.
