PERFORMING BARANGAYS RECOGNIZED
NEWSFLASH: Performing barangays in terms of cleanliness, and peace and order were recognized during the ABC Night Awarding Ceremonies for the 2022 Search for Cleanest, Greenest Safest, and Model Barangay on Eco-Waste Management held at the Multi-purpose Center on February 23, 2023.
The following are the winners of the said ceremony:
Urban Category
Champion (75,000) – Brgy. 3 Nra. Sra. Del Rosario
1st Runners-up (50,000) – Brgy. 23 San Matias and Brgy. 2 Sta. Joaquina
2nd Runners m-up (30,000) – Brgy. 21 San Pedro, Brgy. 12 San Isidro and Brgy. 25 Sta. Cayetana
Rural Category
Champion (75,000) – Brgy. 30-B Sta. Maria
1st Runner-up (50,000) – Brgy. 39 Sta. Rosa
2nd Runners-up (30,000) – Brgy. 37 Calayab, Brgy. 53 Rioeng and Brgy. 57 Pila
Moreover, Mayor Keon also presented the city government’s plan to conduct a barangay visitation this coming March called “SerbisioLaoagueño”. This program aims to deliver various programs and services and also to learn personally the problems and wishes of the Laoagueños for the development of the city.
