LAOAG CITY RECEIVES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM PBBM

The City of Laoag through Mayor Michael Marcos Keon received 3 million pesos (P3,000,000.00) from President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. during his visit to Ilocos Norte on July 29, 2023, as an aid to Laoag being one of the hard-hit areas of Typhoon Egay for socio-civic projects, generator sets, and relief packs. The city also received 2 units of 7.5 KVA generator sets, 1,000 food packs, and 50 cases of bottled water.

Meanwhile, 5 out of the 30 families whose houses were totally damaged received 20,000 pesos as financial assistance from the National Housing Authority. An additional 10,000 pesos from the DSWD will also be given to the recipients.
