MAYOR KEON AND VM FARIÑAS LEAD THE DISTRIBUTION OF TOOL KITS
NEWSFLASH: Mayor Michael Marcos Keon and Vice Mayor Rey Carlos Farinas led the distribution of starter tool kits to various beneficiaries from the different barangays of the city on July 8, 2022, in relation to the recipients’ previous completion of the skills training that were implemented by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA- Ilocos Norte) headed by Prov. Dir. Socorro Galanto, in coordination with the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
Ms. Avelina Pascual, the Vocational School Administrator of PTC Banna and Mr. Nestor Pascual, MAIS Vocational School Administrator helped TESDA-Ilocos Norte in implementing the trainings, which include Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I in Brgy. 52-B Lataag, Produce Organic Fertilizer Leading to Organic Agricultural Production NC II in Brgy. 62-B Navotas South and Produce Organic Concoction and Extracts Leading to Organic Agricultural Production NC II in Brgy. 38-B Mangato West.
Also present during the distribution were City Councilors Handy Lao, Enrico Ang, Jaybee Baquiran, John Michael Farinas, Roger John Farinas, Derick Lao and ABC President Mikee Farinas.
