CDC TACKLES and APPROVES PPA’S for 2023 to 2025
NEWSFLASH: The City Development Council (CDC) headed by Mayor Michael Marcos Keon convened on September 28, 2022 for the following agenda: (1) Executive-Legislative Agenda and the Capacity Development Agenda for 2023-2025 of the City of Laoag; (2) Local Development Investment Program for 2023-2025 and the Annual Investment Program for CY2023 of the City of Laoag integrating the programs, projects and activities included in the ELA and Capacity Development Agenda for 2023-2025; (3) Supplemental Investment Program No. 01 series of 2022 – Additional fund to cover the budget deficit of gasoline and electricity expenses of the city government due to price increase; and (4) the composition of the sectoral and functional committees of the City Development Council, which were subsequently approved and adopted.
The CDC is composed of the mayor, punong barangays, department heads of the city government and accredited Civil Society Organizations headed by Mrs. Mary Ang. Also present were City Administrator Atty. Roxanne Lee Castro, Legal Officer Atty. Franklin Calumag and City Planning and Development Coordinator Ms Ruby Ann Bunalade.
