MAYOR MMK ATTENDS THE ILOCOS NORTE DRUG EDUCATION SUMMIT
NEWSFLASH: Mayor Michael Marcos Keon attended the Ilocos Norte Drug Education Summit on March 31, 2023, at the Laoag City Multi-purpose Hall wherein he delivered the welcome remarks.
The 2-day summit was participated in by members of the Red Cross Youth and the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo from the different schools in Laoag City and Ilocos Norte and was organized by the Dangerous Drugs Board, Ilocos Norte Youth Development Office, the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Philippine Red Cross, Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in view of the mandated implementation of the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy which outlines the balanced efforts of the government to strengthen the campaign against illegal drugs and to raise the level of awareness and consciousness on this pressing problem.
