LAOAG CITY FUTSAL AND ARNIS TEAMS EXCEL IN COMPETITION
NEWSFLASH: The Laoag City arnis team recently participated in the 2nd LAKAN Arnis Tournament in San Miguel, Bulacan last April 16, 2023, which won 6 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals. The team emerged as the 1st runner-up in the overall ranking.
Meanwhile, the Laoag City women’s team in futsal clinched the championship in the women’s open division besting 10 other teams from Northern Luzon in the recently concluded 10th Kinnugtaran Football Festival which was hosted by Northwestern University on April 15, 2023.
Both teams paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Michael Marcos Keon on April 17, 2023. The arnis team was accompanied by their coaches and trainers, Mr. Rene Castillo and Ms Madonna Ibos while the futsal team was accompanied by their coach and trainer, Mr. Rick Solomon.
