TIDBIT #1: Ilocos Norte Water District (INWD) through its Gen. Manager Engr. John Teodoro signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the city government through Mayor Michael Marcos Keon in taking over the maintenance & operation of the water supply system in Brgys. 59-A Dibua South, 59-B Dibua North and 60-B Madiladig constructed under the Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) Project of DILG, which is the lead executing agency. Present were DILG Prov’l. Dir. Roger Daquioag, INWD Engineering Section Head Engr. Winston Guerrero, Brgy. Chairmen Severino Domingo, Jr., Jerry Lucas & Pedro Manuel, City Administrator Atty. Roxanne Lee Castro, Atty. Franklin Calumag of the City Legal Office, City DILG Officer Ms Janette Duarte, Planning & Development Officer Ms. Ruby Ann Bunalade & Community Affairs Officer Ms. Mylene Isabel Pascual.

TIDBIT #2: Dr. Eliezer Asuncion passed the baton to Dra. Yolanda de Silva as Hospital Administrator of the Laoag City General Hospital (LCGH) on June 24, 2021 in view of the former’s retirement on June 21. Mayor Michael Marcos Keon presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Dr. Asuncion in a simple turn-over ceremony.
