Mayor Keon Convenes members of CPOC AND CADAC for the regular quarterly joint meeting

NEWSFLASH: Members of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) were convened on June 25, 2021 by its Chairman, City Mayor Michael Marcos Keon, for the regular quarterly joint meeting at the city auditorium.

PNP-Laoag through COP PLTCol Rafael Lero reported a continuous decrease of index and non-index crimes committed during the second quarter of this year vis-a-vis the same period of last year. He added that the peace and order situation is relatively satisfactory.

Together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), the PNP reported the recent buy-bust operation of a person involving methampethamine hydrochloride (shabu) with an estimated street value of P5,220,000.00, the biggest accomplishment so far of both the PNP and PDEA here in the city.
