LSB TACKLES PROPOSED NEW SECONDARY SCHOOL

On October 28, 2022, Mayor Michael Marcos Keon convened the Local School Board (LSB) to discuss mainly the procurement of the lot for the proposed establishment of a new secondary school to be located in the northeastern part of the city and other updates on current programs, projects, and activities of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Laoag City together with Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Vilma Eda.

City Councilor and Chairman of the Committee on Education,

John Michael Fariñas, City Administrator Atty. Roxanne Lee Castro, City Treasurer Mr. Diomedes Gayban, and other members of the LSB, SDO Laoag Employee Association, and SDO Laoag Teachers’ Association Secondary and Elementary were present during the meeting.
