MAYOR KEON WELCOMES THE OIC OF BJMP-LAOAG

On November 2, 2022, Mayor Michael Marcos Keon welcomed J/Insp Jayson Aquino, the newly designated Officer-in-Charge of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)-Laoag City Jail, for his courtesy visit. He was accompanied by JO3 Krishanne Mei Anyaya, Admin JNOR, and JO1 Alvin Agbayani.

During the courtesy visit, Warden Aquino presented the awards and recognitions that were conferred upon the Laoag City Jail by BJMP Regional Office for the third quarter of this year namely, Best City Jail in the Region and Best City Jail Warden for the previous warden, J/SInsp Freddie Emiliano Villon.

Moreover, Warden Aquino presented several proposed ordinances from the BJMP National Headquarters for the endorsement of possible enactment by the Sanggunian Panglungsod to improve the public safety of BJMP.
