BFAR HOLDS ON FORUM ON THE LATEST FISHING TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIONS
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) spearheaded the 55th Fishery Industry Forum for Stakeholders on November 25, 2022, at the UKL Ever Resort Hotel at Brgy. 46 Galbo.
The forum intended to apprise the participating members of the farming associations of Ilocos Norte on the latest technologies and innovations in fisheries as well as the latest policies and regulations of the government.
Mayor Michael Marcos Keon delivered the Welcome Remarks. Present during the forum were Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, BFAR Region 1 Director Rosario Segundina Gaerlan, Mr. Edwin Carino representing Congressman Ferdinand Alexander Marcos, Atty. David Campanano representing Congressman Angelo Marcos Barba, Atty. Pancho Jose, Chief of Staff of the Governor and INAFEC Director, Ms. Leive Grace Cabahug of the Department of Agriculture Region 1, and Ms. Vanessa Dagdagan, Provincial Fishery Coordinator.
