REGIONAL OFFICE MONITOR CITY’S NUTRITION PROGRAMS
NEWSFLASH: The National Nutrition Council-Regional Office No. 1 came to Laoag City on February 17, 2023, to monitor various nutrition programs of the city through a courtesy visit to Mayor Michael Marcos Keon of Mr. Kendall Gatan, the OIC Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator of the National Nutrition Council- Regional Office.
He was accompanied by Ms. Wylibeth Lumpia, Development Management Officer II; Ms. Angel Soriano, Development Management Officer II; Mr. Shamrock Bas-ilan, Project Development Officer I and Mr. Marcelino Aaron, Administrative Aide III together with the City Nutrition Action Officer, Ms. Marlyn Gayoc.
Proposal on the creation of a local nutrition office and an increase in local investment in nutrition were also discussed.
