Wear your face masks and face shields, constantly wash your hands, practice physical/social distancing, stay home and avoid unnecessary travels. This is the ‘New Normal”. It is difficult and requires self-restraint, but absolutely necessary.

We may feel helpless just being confined in our residences, but given the bleak possibility of a vaccine, and the uncertainty of when this global crisis shall end, discipline becomes our primary and most critical contribution to the solution.

Now more than ever, we assure you.

The City Government of Laoag, with its 1,158 valiant employees, remains with and will continue to serve you. Let us not put vulnerable Laoaguenos irresponsibly at risk. When we, as Laoaguenos, collectively and diligently adhere to the prevention protocols and health practices, we can defeat this invisible enemy.

It is most vital now to acknowledge that we all have a shared responsibility to revive and strengthen the culture of discipline in sustaining and maintaining a more orderly, peaceful and healthy Laoag City.
