Mayor Keon convenes the CDC members for a meeting relative to three (3) important matters
NEWSFLASH: Members of the City Development Council (CDC) composed of punong barangays and members of various civil groups were convened by its Chairman, Mayor Michael Keon, for the presentation, deliberation and adoption of the Comprehensive Development Plan for 2020-2025, the Annual Investment Program for CY 2022 and Draft CDC Resolution No. 01 which proposes the reprogramming of unutilized funds and savings of the city government.
The Comprehensive Development Plan includes proposed programs, projects and activities that will be funded by either the national government or the city government that were unidentified during the previous stakeholders’ meetings while the Annual Investment Program includes the 5% Calamity Fund, 20% Development Fund, Gender and Development Fund and General Fund. Draft CD Resolution No. 01 is designed to achieve herd immunity on vaccination. These three (3) matters were duly apporved by the body and will be subsequently endorsed to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for its approval.
Majority of the Brgy. Chairmen voted against the holding of “musiko” during the last night in a wake and procession upon the ground that such activity attracts people and the flocking of people is being prevented in order to avoid the transmission of Covid-19 virus.
