TIDBIT #1: Mayor Michael Marcos Keon joined Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc last August 26, 2021 in distributing the salary of 158 recipients from Brgys. 1, 11, 36, 38-A, 38-B, 42 & 44 under the Cash for Work Program of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte through the PENRO headed by Mrs. Baby Sacro, each receiving P1,275.00 covering a 5-day cleaning of esteros & canals in their respective barangays.

TIDBIT #2: Twenty (20) senior citizens of Brgy. 37 Calayab completed the Training on Free-Range Chicken on August 28, 2021, which was sponsored by the Agricultural Training Institute of the Reg’l. Training Center of the Dept. of Agriculture through the City Social Welfare & Dev’t. Office. The awarding of certificates and chickens to the participants was led by Mayor Michael Marcos Keon with the presence of SP members Rbee Ablan, Clarence Justine Chua & Jaybee Baquiran as well as CSWDO OIC Mrs. Perlita Cabello and the project’s proponent, Jermaine Sebastian, Brgy. Chairwoman Marvelyn Padayao and her council.
